"Scoring high"
American Airlines hired AC&M Group early in 2008 to handle its soccer initiatives. Originally envisioned as a Hispanic initiative, it has become one of the most successful sports sponsorship for the airline. AC&M proprietary U.S. soccer segmentation, allowed American Airlines to extend the program to more of its segments increasing ROI. The program included grassroots events at local soccer leagues, activations at MLS soccer games, web promotions, and many more. AA was able to generate sales from traceable soccer promotions, almost three times higher than the investment of the sponsorship and activation together. We feel very proud of these results, since it means that we accomplished our main goal, which is to create value to our partners with our work.
